报告摘要:

Since the beginning of the 20th century, researchers have been looking for an effective way to transfer power without wired connections. However the wireless power transfer technology started to attract extensive interest from the industry side only in 2007 when the first smartphone was released and a consumer electronics revolution was triggered. Currently, the modern technology of wireless power transfer (WPT) already has a rich research and development history as well as outstanding advances in commercialization. This talk will be focusing on the industrial issues first: tracing the WPT history, reviewing the modern WPT products and discussing the current industrial standards. In the second part, the topic will be shifted to the recent research advances in magnetic resonant power transfer systems. Different approaches to improve WPT performances will be discussed. Specifically, our recent results on WPT based on dielectric resonators will be demonstrated in detail.

报告人简介:

宋明肇,在读博士生,2012年本科毕业于浙江大学信息与电子工程学系,2015年于圣彼得堡国立信息技术机械与光学大学(简称ITMO大学)光子学与光电信息学系获得硕士学位。2015年进入ITMO大学纳米光学与超材料系攻读博士。同年获得国家留学基金委(CSC)奖学金,俄罗斯联邦政府奖学金,以及作为唯一非独联体国家的研究者获得俄罗斯Dynasty Foundation的“青年科学家”项目资助。攻读博士期间,主要研究基于介质谐振器和超材料的无线能量传输系统,旨在进一步提高无线充电的距离和效率并降低接收端和发射端的空间位置的限制。2016年首次实现了基于陶瓷材料的无线能量传输系统,世界科技资讯网(phys.org)、美国每日科学网(sciencedaily.org)等多家媒体对此项工作进行了专访。2015年至今在Applied Physics Letters, Applied Physics Reviews, Physical Reviews B等杂志发表5篇论文。迄今参加了6次国际会议,获得2016 IEEE APS-URSI会议Travel Grant 2017 Metamaterials 会议Travel Grant,以及2017 PIERS会议最佳学生论文奖(第一名)。
